The first IJF event of 2020 has concluded and it was an amazing showing of high-level judo. Athletes from all over had a lot on the line as they were looking to set the precedent for the world to see.
Hatashita Sports Athlete / Team USA's Colton Brown secured a Top 7 finish earning a 182 World Ranking Points. Brown is currently qualified for the 2020 Olympic Games in Tokyo.
Hatashita Sports Athlete / Team Canada's Kelita Zupancic earned herself a bronze medal. Zupancic won 4 of her matches and only falling once to the eventual winner of the contest. Zupancic looked incredible throughout the day and started 2020 off right!
