2025 Hatashita Sports Sponsored Athletes Wrap Up

The 2025 season was an incredible year for our Hatashita and Fuji Sports sponsored athletes. Their dedication, discipline, and passion for judo were showcased across the IJF World Tour, the Pan American circuit, the Senior and Junior World Championships, and major continental junior events. We are proud to celebrate their accomplishments and recognize the hard work that made this season unforgettable.

IJF World Tour Success

Our athletes delivered standout performances on the world stage.

Maria Laborde earned two IJF World Tour medals this year. She claimed gold at the Guadalajara Grand Prix in Mexico and followed with a bronze medal at the Linz Grand Prix in Austria. She closes out the year ranked number nine in the world in the 48kg category.

Johan Silot secured his first IJF World Tour medal with an impressive silver finish at the Lima Grand Prix in Peru in the 81kg division.

Pan American Championships Santiago, Chile

The Pan American Championships added more success for Team Hatashita.

Jack Yonezuka became Pan American Champion in the 73kg category.
Maria Laborde took silver in the 48kg category.
Seventeen year old Jonathan Yang earned his first senior Pan American medal with a bronze in the 60kg category.

Senior World Championships Team Budapest, Hungary

Our junior athletes had a strong presence at the Junior World Championships and delivered impressive results.

Looking Ahead

2025 was a year full of breakthrough performances and inspiring progress at every level of competition. With the 2028 Olympic Qualification period beginning next year, excitement is building.
